FreeNAS cant see my hardware RAID1

Hi,
I have Dell R210 server with perc RAID contoller. I have two disk per 250 GB. I create RAID1 into BIOS and I got one disk 250 GB, everythings looks fine. After that, I start installation of FreeNAS 8.2.0. But, FreeNAS not see RAID1 (one disk od 250GB), it see 2 disk per 250 GB. What is a problem? Why FreeNAS cant see my RAID1, one disk od 250 GB?

The RAID controller probably isn't supported. Besides that, per the manual you should not be using hardware RAID.

It is very bad for me. RAID contoller is PERC S100 (software-based) http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/pedge/en/PowerEdgeR210TechGuide_04052010.pdf
Please can you explain me why I shoudnt using hardware RAID for instllacion FreeNAS?

What you can suggest me what is the best what I can do?
