Hi,
I'm new to FreeNAS.
I have install FreeNAS as VM on Windows 2012 R2 Hyper-V. On mail pool (RAID 10 - 4 disk) of disk with other VM's. FreeNAS is 30GB disk and 8 GB RAM. Next I have added to FreeNAS disk with phisical raid1 (form my HP) and added it in Hyper-V to FreeNAS as directli attached disk. And then created share on it.
Is this configuration correct? or should I correct somethings?

don't use raid for freenas storage.
freeness needs access to "plain" hdds.
maybe add a HBA and passthrough it to FN
