Freenas 9.3 Hangs after few minutes and shows message on console

Hi,

I have installed Freenas 9.3 as a fresh installation as a instance on Vmware esxi host (dell R510 server).

The freenas works fine for few minutes after it boots, but then it shows the attached snapshot screen and hangs. Also, from this time onward we are unable to even ping the freenas ip address.

can you please check and suggest as why this is happening?

Yes, you have found the same issue many of us have with respect to FreeNAS 9.3 running on VMWare. It doesn't.

Okay, there is a fix I heard, something about using the latest version of esxi. I don't recall exactly because I use VMWare Workstation 10 and I'm not willing to pay for the next version just to run FreeNAS 9.3 for testing. Look into esxi 5.5u2, I think that was the version which gets past this issue.

I believe someone said it worked correctly with ESXi 5.5u1. But if you must upgrade It make sense to go with 5.5u2,
