Freenas 9.3.10 failed to install on Dell R730xd

hi guys,

I am trying to install freenas 9.3.10(the latest version) on a Dell R730xd, (the perc is set to HBA mode).

however, I tried different methods without luck, all of them tell me "failed to boot xxxxxxx"
I tried booting from iDrac virtual Cd
USB cdrom
USB stick.

I tried with an Ubuntu iso file with success.

If any of you could share some ideas, that will be wonderful.

Can you boot normal freebsd?

I tried the same way as Ubuntu iso file, for freebsd 9.3 stable iso file, it failed.

So your hardware doesn't support freebsd.

Try freebsd 10 or freenas 9.10

I just tried Freebsd 10.2 and it failed again. Looks I will need to look at nas4free or open filer.

update:

I changed the booting options from UEFI to bios, it installed successfully.
