Hi guys I have some problems installing freenas 9 on this new hardware, I have installed it several times on old server, but on this server I have tried with several brands of usb drives and even idrac virtual drive I can't pass the install, I got the following error Kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled, it's there any way to get more information about what is happening ?

it should have uefi, but looking at the freenas docs it does not mention anything related to uefi or if you have to perform anything, I tried other distro (openmediavault) and it was installed without problems, I still prefer to install freenas but I'm lost and not sure how to troubleshoot this, any pointer will be good. I know this box is not the ideal for freenas but anyways I want to give it a chance.

Also on boot option I have already selected BIOS instead of UEFI.

Start by telling us what this "new hardware" is. And the specific FreeNAS version. And a proper list of steps detailing what you've done.

well I did put the model on the title, I will write down the specs:

Procesador Intel® Xeon® E5-2620 v3
2TB SAS nearline a 12Gb/s 7,2k rpm 3,5"
400GB unidad de estado sólido SATA a 6Gb/s Write-Intensive 2,5"
PERC HBA330 mini

Also tried with 9.10 and 10 (beta) both failed with same error during install, just after booting from usb, I don't even get a chance to select the instalation.

An update on my side:
openmediavault worked but disks were visible
centos7 works fine with all disk visibles

Maybe should I try to install an updated version of freebsd to see if it's related to OS ?

Did you manage to complete FreeNAS installation on this hardware?

I'm not sure why you want to know, since there is very little information on what the hardware even was.
