FreeNAS 11.1 Scrub Speed - Better than 9.10

The scrub speed of my production pool is now faster after upgrading from 9.10 to 11.1. It used to take ~25 hours, now it takes ~12 hours.

That is a total bonus. Thanks for the great and, so far, painless upgrade.

Yes, sequential scrub/resilver is a relatively simple improvement that really helps with spinning rust. Gotta make the most of those few hundred IOPS by issuing large reads.

I just upgraded to 11.1 over the weekend; my first scrub since then started early this morning. The last scrub took three days; we'll see how long this one takes.

My backuptank used to take about 13-14 hours. Now it takes 9 hours. Seemed to average ~875MB/s on a 12 disk Z2 pool. Pretty sweet.
