Error message on the log

Since i changed my system, that i have this error message on the log:

Nov 11 05:42:55 freenas root: Unknown USB device: vendor 0x051d product 0x0002 bus uhub0

I did not connected anything new on any usb port. This message keeps repeating itself at a rate of 1 message for 2 minutes...What can it be?

There seems to be a lot of similar complaints in the FreeBSD forums. It seems to be related to the UPS. Do you have a UPS hooked up?

Yes, i have a ups hooked up. But it detects it ok at the beginning. I will try to remove it and see if the error stops.

Well.. disconnected the UPS and the error is gone.. But this is kind of stupid, because on my previous motherboard and on previous versions, there was no such error :(

Well at least the mystery is solved, it seems like a FreeBSD problem / not FreeNAS and a lot of people are having the same problem so I'd expect it to be fixed in the next release??
I would say it was safe to ignore, but with that many messages it could fill up the log file & /var partition. Have you tested your UPS to make sure it works? I'm not sure how often the log file gets rolled over and if that's often enough, but you also don't want that much writing happening to your flash drive either. Maybe someone else here has some suggestions.

Hi:

No, it's a USB2.0 port (this board has no USB3.0 port).

And, yes the UPS works ok:
