It should be in pool Alpha, but it's saying on the Disks tab it's in Plex, yet under the status of each pool it is in neither - and the amount of storage I have on each pool is correct. I rebooted t he server and it's the same.

I just went to create a new pool, and that drive is showing there. I checked the disks page again, and now it is not showing up in any pool.

It should be in an 8 drive raidz2 pool. The pool shows as healthy with no missing drives. What the heck?

Dual port SAS drives? There is/was a severe bug in some current version - be careful, don't create anything new at the moment ...

I'm quite concerned because there is 17TB of data on Alpha, surely the disk is part of the pool and being used for me to be able to be using that much space with raidz2?

What precisely do you mean by that? As far as I know the Microservers have only 4 drive bays each. How can you have a pool across two servers?

Yes 4 bays each. I am using the Gen10+ as my main server and running the Gen8 just as a jbod thing with my expander card inside, the other 4 disks are in the drive bay of that.

SATA port multipliers are not recommended and known to cause all sorts of trouble, specifically with disk drive identification.

The multipath problem I was referring to is this:
But this is not your specific problem if you don't run SAS multipath.

If you need additional help you need to be more specific about that "expander card" and all details - model numbers, cabling, ... - of your setup.

I am using an IBM ServeRaid M1015 card in the Gen10+
That leads to an Intel RES2SV240NC expander card, and the bay in the Gen8 is plugged into that.

Did you flash the IBM card to IT mode? Are you sure the Intel expander card is supported? I am not, but I cannot verify. Is have reason to suspect that this setup is what is causing your trouble.

Yes it has been in IT mode since I bought it in 2017. I think the expander card was recommended to me either on here or on the discord.
