Will an Intel RES2SV240 SAS expander just work?

As per the title, will an Intel RES2SV240 SAS expander just work when installed in a FreeNAS setup or will I need to add any drivers etc?

Yes, it just works. See if there are firmware updates, though.

I have two SAS expanders in my main server, two 24 drive backplanes, and they do just work.
