My Freenas is running on a salvaged aspire 5551 with 8gb of ram, Athlon II P320 and a 250gb hard drive. There is a rugged 500gb external drive and a 5gb thumb drive.
this morning when I woke up I found out there had been a power cut during the night and when I rebooted the computer the thumb drive wasn't showing up, after a few more reboots it still wasn't showing up so I figured I could disconnect the pool then reconnect.
when I disconnected I only checked the confirm export/disconnect box, after disconnecting the pool I checked disks and it showed up as da1, unfortunately I don't know if it showed up before I disconnected because I didn't check. When I go to pools and click import an existing pool and go to select a pool nothing shows up.
any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm pretty new to this.
