custom reporting chart, is it possible?

Hello, I'm using 8.02 on two NAS remotely located.
I was wondering... would it be possible at all to add a custom chart under e.g. reporting to report for example on the ping status between the two nas?

What would help me keeping an eye on availability and if something goes down it would at least let me know from when to when communication was broken.

even I am looking for this feature.. as my architecture contains emailing systems, I was hoping if different graphs for different services such as IMAP/POP/SMTP/HTTP would be available and/or it displays the IOPS for each service.

Anyone please throw some light on it. Thanks :)
