According to the SM site theres no MICROM compatible with x10slm-f.

Not a problem since October.

Crucial has a compatibility checker for this motherboard on their website that guarantees compatibility, i.e. if you purchase direct from them and it's listed as compatible and doesn't work, they will take the memory back. Obviously that guarantee doesn't extend to a retailer, but it does show that it will work - otherwise Crucial wouldn't bother with the compatibility checker.

They're a tier 1 DRAM manufacturer and much more trustworthy than Kingston.

Supermicro's site lists modules that aren't available in most of the world. Interestingly the almost-identical X10SLM+-F lists these Crucial modules.

Yeah, I'm sure too. Note that it's in the hardware recommendations thread so no problem.
