Hi Guys,

I'm currently not a fan of zsh and prefer bash. I've changed my users shell, however, will this be persistent between upgrades, I know historically it's not in core? how about changes to things like .bashrc for aliases.

Thanks,

if you change the default shell under the user account on credentials it should be persistent.

i cant speak to .bashrc tho

good rule of thumb anything changed in the web UI (or the new in progress cli). remains persistent baring bugs ;) or changes that meant remove/alter that setting

oh, I didn't do it that way, thanks for the pointer.
Never make changes using the cli. They usually won't survive a reboot and defiantly not an upgrade.

On SCALE most shell changes stick on reboot, besides things like network-settings.
CLI changes (thatssomething else than shell, the CLI is a specific new tool) always stick on both update and upgrade.
