Can't write files to a AFP Share

I'm completely new to FreeNAS and I just built my box. I can't write files to an AFP share that I created for time machine backup. The share shows up on the network but when I right click within the share to make a new folder. I enter my username and password, and it said: "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have the necessary permission."

I have permissions set to allow read and write on the drive for this user.

Any help or insight you can give would be great.

Can you post the output of the following command "getfacl /mnt/<pool>/<share>" i.e. getfacl /mnt/dozer/AFP

You need to edit permissions for the dataset in the storage UI so that its owner is your user.
