I had been running 12.0-U3, and switched my boot drives, so downloaded a fresh copy of the boot installer, moving TrueNAS from a single drive SSD to a dual Drive PCIE-SSD.
Now everything restarted well, and to my surprise, the services I was using didn't even require me to restore the system configuration in order to function. Although I was still planning on doing a system configuration restore.
Now, I wasn't able to do a restore because it says the configuration file is from a more up-to-date system. And sure enough, the U3 update was not included on the boot drive. So I tried several times to update, and it keeps downloading, installing (which it says is successful) and restarting, but when it comes back online, the update has not been applied. I have tried the automatic update and also tried manual update. They both do the same thing.
Not sure how to proceed here. Obviously, something is not quite right. Any thoughts?
