By posting that link, are you telling me you are good to do this on your own?

Best to not try this tired, I'll be around all day tomorrow, lets just keep up with this thread, I'll keep checking for you to be in here. Postings help others in the future;)I can give it a try. I am about to give it up for a bit though. Tired as can be and stupid Windows decided to install 245 updates!
If I have questions, can I email you?
I just sent you a zip file containing the files you will need for the flash tomorrow.Same as you (Central)
Thanks B!Protip: the next time just rename your_file.zip to your_file.zip.txt ;)
At the C: prompt - type in your choice from the two options below
1) If you WANT the boot ROM, type: sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom
2) If you DON'T want the boot ROM, type: sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin
Remove the two mini SAS connectors from your motherboard and boot into the FreeNAS GUI.
In IT mode, the boot ROM would be used only if you choose to boot your system off one of the drives connectedGot it, printing it...
What do I want? I don't know what boot ROM is... Thanks!
Do you mean to remove the SAS ribbon cable? I am sure the SAS Connection Ports are soldered on... I am not being a smart-ass here, this is a serious question. Maybe you mean something else?
megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin
Stub exec faild:

Just curious about this statement...I have the newest version installed on a hdd already...
Let's flash the controller first, we can deal with that later...Regular 3.5in hard disk...
Since my servers are racked, I didn't want a USB sticking out.
What capacity of a USB do I need?
