Hello,

I am setting up my first FreeNAS box and have CFIS shares visible in Windows Explorer.

Each share contains a .system folder. When I try to create a vault to the share in Acronis Backup 11.5 I get an error that the share is not empty and a vault cannot be created in a non-empty location.

Can anyone point me to a solution?

Create a dataset and share out that dataset instead of the volume

No. If you are running on old hardware and using UFS then I assume you don't actually meet the requirements or recommended hardware for FreeNAS?

Thanks. Well, it's a P4 with 2GB RAM. As I said it is my first try.

UFS support is already removed from the master branch of FreeNAS' code, so you might want to give up on FreeNAS or get more powerful hardware. When 9.2.2 comes out you'll be unable to get any additional security fixes.

Certainly if I do use FreeNAS in a production environment I will use different hardware. Currently I am just firing it up to become familiar.
