Can truenas core be reinstalled without losing my media files

I have unintentionally deleted my plex server at plex. I no longer can use my media on my plex account. Can I reinstall truenas core 12.8u or truenas core 13 and restore my account? I was installing a new router(pfsense) and lost my connection to plex at home and from remote. I am looking for a solution to re-established my media account. I have 1.5tib of media that I did not want loose. Any recommendations for a solution to this problem. Thanks.

If you deleted your Plex server, why do you think reinstalling TrueNAS will help? The obvious solution would be to reinstall Plex. But to answer your question, yes, of course you can reinstall TrueNAS without harming your data--that's why the OS is on its own device.
