Hi,

Does block level storage for iSCSi backup to Backblaze cloud provider?

I cannot see the volume in the config list

As you cannot see, i have a volume inside /mnt/ds1-main, but its not listed as a directory to sync to Backblaze.

How does this work or not work? :)

No, backing up to object storage providers does not allow backing up block devices at this time, only files. You'll want to use ZFS replication right now if you have block based workloads.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
I have a truenas backup server on-site that has zfs snapshot replication going.

Is there any other smart way i could SCP/tranfer/copy a block volume to a off-site target? :)

The reason i am using iSCSI is to store Windows RemoteApps userprofiles.
And these will not play nice with SMB shares

My solution ended with:

1. Mount an iSCSI drive on my RD Gateway server
2. Share it with SMB
3. Backup the userprofiles on the iSCSi mounted drive to another share on TrueNAS server (hint robocopy /SECFIX)
