Backup of my FREENAS storage on FREENAS 8

Is there any way to back up the data on my freenas storage? I've seen that people use rsync but that feature isn't on freenas 8 that i can see. I'm wanting to set it up to automatically back up it's hard drives to an external HDD maybe once a week.

Right now there's very little support for external drives formatted with NTFS/FAT/Ext, it's in the GUI, but doesn't work (v8.01). You could use an external drive formatted with UFS. Rsync wasn't added until one of the betas, so you'd need to upgrade to 8.01. Upgrading is probably the first thing to do, then learn about rsync.
