Hello Everybody,
I just set up my FreeNAS Server a few weeks ago and of I course I haven't run out of storage yet ;)
But lets imagine I don't have any storage left, how can I "add" storage ?
I know that I can't just add a new HDD to my zpool but can I replace a 8 tb HDD with an empty 10 tb HDD ?
Because of RAID z2 it should automatically copy all my data to the new hdd right ?
So the question is do I need all HDDs to be the same size or can I for example use 3x 8 tb and 3x 10 tb HDD ?
Thanks for your time
