I have a Freenas server I've been running. I was backing it up with Acronis on a Windows Machine (I know, I know).
I have spent the day with rsync going line by line through all the docs and Internet information and I am about to give up.
This is a fresh backup, so the disks in the other machine have no data and are a fresh volume.
Do I need to put files on them in another way before rsync will work? Is there any fool proof information out there? Finally, and this is where I am at --- is the a backup software which will run on FreeBSD and not interfere with Freenas?
Thanks in advance for your time!
