Hello
i have a APC UPS Pro 900 with USB Port
conected to a Raspberry Pi, Model B+ PLUS - 512MB RAM

i installed some software and able to get the Information from the UPS.

Now the question how do i have to configure FreeNAS11-u4 to pickup the Information about remaining time and if 15 minutes Left FreeNAS11-u4 would be a nice and proper shutdown. AND if the Power get back he would also nice and proper Reboot.

what should be configured on the Pi else, and how to configure FreeNAS11-u4?

have a nice day

That is an entirely different ball of wax. You would need wake on lan configured and send a magic packet to the NIC on the FreeNAS system. It can be done, but not easily configurable.
Why don't you just connect the UPS direct to the FreeNAS system?

...and really, the best way to do this is to have a network-connected UPS. That way, each device can connect directly to the UPS and take whatever action is appropriate, without having to rely on some other device. But failing that, nut client/server seems to work pretty well.
