allocating NICs to plugin jails

I am running freenas on a ibm x3650 m3 that has 4 1gb Ethernet ports..
how does one assign nextcloud its own nic?
When go to the networking settings in jails for nextcloud the NIC settings are grayed out..

Is VIMAGE unchecked? See manual section 13.2
