Hello all,
Currently I am running 0.7.2 Sabanda (revision 5872)
I have 3 volumes shared by SMB and AFP with permission of 770, as you can see below
However my mac seems to have it's own idea of file permissions and decided to use 700 instead
And therefore (?) files and folders created in the volume are automatically assigned permission 700, which is stopping other users in the same group from accessing files shared in the NAS
And it can be verified in the web based file explorer
This behaviour is only affecting AFP and mac os x clients, the other folders created by windows computer are properly inheriting permissions 770.
I would like to know if this is a known bug or some sort of misconfiguration which i can fix. Can someone please enlighten me because i'm tired of fixing permissions
