Advatronix Nimbus 400

Hi All:

Looking to replace my aging HP microserver with one of these:

Specs are
Intel® Atom™ C2750 (8core @2.40Ghz)
32G ECC 1333 UDIMM
6 3TB drives for RAIDZ2
USB boot
2 Intel NICs

Anyone had any experience with this manufacturer?

Looking at the link makes it sound like a slightly better board than the Asrock Rack model used in the FreeNAS Mini.
The Advantronix seems to have these improvements;

• 2 rear USB 3.0
• 2 front USB 3.0
• SAS support

However, the rear panel picture is NOT the advertised board. It lacks 2 network connections, has sound and PS-2
connections, and does not mention any PCIe expansion slot. The last would be a deal breaker for me. Plus, from
what I can tell, it actually has nothing to do with SAS, it's SATA only. It's Intel & Marvell SATA controllers.

So you might be better off with the Asrock Rack Avoton. Or the Supermicro one.
