Got email notifications from 2 FreeNAS machines that an upgrade was available.
Both are running 9.3.1 - FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201605170422 and list FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201604150515 as the upgrade that's available.

According to https://download.freenas.org/9.3.1/STABLE/ that's the previous version, not an upgrade.

One one of the servers I "upgraded" to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201604150515. Attempting to revert back to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201605170422 dropped the volume and all settings.

Reverted back to FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201604150515 and all seems fine, though not the latest release.

Any thoughts on what gives? 2 separate systems, same behavior.

There are no upgrades to the 9.3 series. Any reason you're not on 9.10?

Correct - which is why I found it surprising it was reporting an available update, and that the update was older release.

If it ain't broken... was going to wait for Corral .1 release and then upgrade. Didn't want to transition jails to 9.10 just to redo them in Docker.

Also should add that in the last while I have noticed that whenever I manually checked for updates I was seeing a 404 error. I just assumed that 9.3 was no longer supported and that the web infrastructure for updates was no longer online. I just manually checked for updates and it is no longer giving a 404 error but showing the files I listed in my previous reply.

Looks like someone is working on something to do with the 9.3 update machinery.

Yep, I got this too. Thanks for the thread/bug report.

I'm on 9.3.1 because it works with my jails, wanted to skip moving to 9.10 to avoid dual rebuilding, and will eventually join 10 when it's stable enough.
