10 Gbps SPF+ card - Intel X520

I got a new install of truenas core on new to me hardware. I have dual port 10gpbs card. Should it show up in the network interfaces page on true nas weather or not it has a proper link / spf+ module? I can see it when i do lspci but no connections are visible in network. I have tried with two different SPF+ dac cables.

Iirc the interface that had an incompatible transceiver did not show up under interfaces (in networking tab, didn't test lspci) when I first setup my 520.
