Today i downloaded the newest version of freenas and made a configuration based on this link https://www.ixsystems.com/blog/windows-smb-shares-on-freenas/
everything was fine for the first couple of hours but now both my linux mashine and my windows mashine are reporting a way smaller amount than the pool has.
This only ocures on the client mashines as the freenas dashbord reports ecerything corectly. To po it in a perspecrive my pool has 1.76tb but the cliantes are reporting 14gb.And i dont havy any snaphots saved.
Software:
FreeNAS 11.3-U4
Hardware:
hp se326m1 (same mb as hp 160 g6 if it helps)
16gb ram
2x Intel Xeon L5640

There are a lot of sharing files apps and I think you can find another app, that fits you the best. I also had a lot of problems with finding a good enough app, but thankfully I stumbled on a site where there is a lot of files sharing apps and I am sure that on that site you will find the sharing file you need. In case you are interested and would like to check the site, I am talking about, you can access it by clicking on FriendlySync. I am sure you will find this information helpful, stay safe, and have a wonderful day!
