This seems like a basic question, but im having a difficult time.
I had to do a reinstall of freenas because an update went haywire, so i set everything up again, and i ended up with 2 jail files
"Jails" & "Jails_2"
I decided to use the "Jails" file because its cleaner. I wanted to delete the other, so i switched the configuration file to "Jails_2" and removed all my jails, and the storage associated with them, then switched the config back to "Jails"
To my surprise, "Jails_2" still exists on the drive and shows a size of 61gb this is nowhere near the size of the data that should be linked via the storage shortcut, but im worried about deleting the "Jails_2" File, in case of some data loss.
The only files in the "Jails_2" file are
.plugins
.warden-files-cache
.warden-template-pluginjail
warden.log
So it appears the jails inside were deleted, but the 61gb remains.
In summary is it safe to just delete the "Jails_2" file?
Thank you.
