zoneminder fresh install will not run

The plugin starts but when I log onto the web gui it says it is not running. So I logged into the shell of the jail and ran:
service zoneminder restart
and i get
ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.32/mach/CORE/libperl.so.5.32: Undefined symbol "strerror_l@FBSD_1.6"
After some digging it seems that version 1.36.12 does not run in freebsd 12.2 but 12.3
Is it possible to upgrade the jail env to 12.3?

Is there a way for a user to himself upgrade the version used in a jail? or must the package be updated by the Truenas team to reflect 12.3?

I got it running by creating a jail using release 12.3 and then install package after packages to make zoneminder work and its working now. that was painful. I wonder why I didnt just create a vm and run it in debian :P

It just so happened to EOL FreeBSD 12.2 on 31 March 2022
