Hi all,

Quick question, as most of us are aware, the LSI chipset on the x10SL7 motherboard gets really hot.

I'm interested to know what everyone has done about it?

I'm in half a mind to ignore it, but its hard given I cannot hold my finger on it for more than 2 seconds...

"Can't hold my finger on it for more than 2 seconds" isn't really a good measure. It could still be in the 60Cish ballpark, which is fine.

Anyway, that Mobo is designed to run in Rackservers with 10k RPM screamers for cooling. I'd point a fan somewhere in that area...

Add airflow if you're uncomfortable. Not much else you can do.

Buy a simple 40mm fan. If you put screws through it they nicely thread right into the stock heatsink fins and hold it in place well-enough.
