Windows Server 2012r2 Windows Updates Not Working in TrueNAS VM

I am running TrueNAS-12.0-U1 on a Dell R710 (H200 card, 8x 900GB SAS drives, 96GB DDR3). I created a VM and installed Windows Server 2012r2. On a completely fresh install, Windows Update fails with Code 80072F8F.

I had previously run Windows Server 2012r2 baremetal on this same hardware without encountering this issue.

Has anyone else run into this or can shed some light on it?

For posterity, this was solved by using the VirtIO NIC driver instead of the Intel e82545 (e1000) NIC type. This also required virtio-win iso file from this page: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-U...indows-virtual-machines-using-virtio-drivers/
