This problem was previously reported in Freenas 11.3 U1? (not sure about version) and was subsequently corrected. Current Freenas version 11.3 U4.1 works correctly.
It has re-appeared on Truenas 12 Beta1.
When copying a file or folder from a windows 10 desktop to an SMB file share on Truenas Beta 1 server the date/time stamp is changed to the current date/time of the copy vs preserving the original source date/time modified time stamp. This causes a big problem for backups and subsequent file copies where you only want to copy things that have changed or modified from source to destination.
