Why take out Itunes DAAP from Freenas 8?

Hey,

I was wondering why you have taken out the support for Itunes media server? And will you be putting it back in, in the new release?
And how come you cant use Freenas as a live cd anymore.... :(

its in the 8.1 roadmap: http://freenas.org/about/news/item/freenas-81-roadmap

They removed all "unnecessary" functions and focused on the vital parts first. Keep in mind FreeNAS 8 is a new build on nanobsd. Some of the "missing" functions are already in the betas, we'll just have to be patient with the great minds behind the scenes :)
