Where to store incoming Crashplan backup

I know the Crashplan plugin is not really widely use but maybe someone can help me out with a more general advice. So, I'm planning on backing up several computers in my household on the FreeNAS and already got Crashplan running. Now, where would I ideally store the incoming backups? I guess not in the jail itself but rather in another dataset which I added via the "Add storage" menu. Am I assuming correct?

That's what I would do. I have a similar setup for other plugins that generate data of their own. I'm curious to see how your Crashplan implementation works out as I'd like to do the same at some point.
