i am fist time trying to use truenas.
i have an hp 380 gen9 with 2 x xeon 6 core 24 threads , 64 gb of ram , 12 x 10tb seagate drives, and 2 x hp 512 gb sata ssd, 2 x nic 10gb
I would like to use this nas for a ransomware protected backup repository for veeam 11.
so zfs snapshots for protection , how should i use my diskpace? should i use a third ssd for os?
use smb or iscsi for the volumes?
enable deduplication?
what type of parity for drives ?
