VM on System SSD

hi All,
hoping to find You ALL fine.
I have not yet had time to study the functionality of the system well but the fact that you can create virtual instances interested me a lot,
my first goal, of course, is to use the system as a cloud but basically I would like to know if it was possible to use the System SSD to run a virtual instance on it
( I don't care if it's not redundant, maybe I could make snap / backups on the disks in redundancy )
but if I could run my instance on the SSD it could go very fast.
So if it were possible, could you tell me where to go to study how to do it ?
Thx

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use an SSD over 2 pools. VMs have to be created in the data pool, and it's not possible to access the boot pool from the VM GUI.

ok, so if I wanted to run VMs with particularly rapid disk access I would have to create an SSD pool, perhaps with 2 disks, in order to be redundant : is this the correct approach ?

Yes, you're on the right track. I recommend you first look at @jgreco's excellent post on ZFS storage.

The previous advice given is correct, read it. Do not assume that because you are using SSDs that your NAS will run at super high speeds, there are other factors involved.
