Hi ,
I have installed a 11.2 to ssd, everything are fine.
It is an 240GB SSD. The system uses only part of it, is it possible to use the rest of drive's capacity for another purpose ?
thanks
Barna

Simple answer: No. Sorry, you can’t.

Your post is EXACTLY why I just run it from 2xUSB 16GB sticks.
Use the SSD for something more useful.

SSDs are getting so cheap it's not a big deld. The real lost value it the mounting space and sata/sas port. For the record, I'm still on USB.

I'm about to move to a supermicro motherboard and several members who HATE usb have those boards.

Fingers crossed, I don't join the boat of "why are my USB disks endlessly frying!!!" (I've had 4 years of no issue with them)

Agree on the loss of a SATA port too
