I'm trying to Upgrade from 8.3.0 (r12701M) to 9.2.1
After rebooting a few times, the system is still running 8.3.0.

The problem seems to be
FATAL ERROR - The following SQL query failed: CREATE TABLE "_south_new_services_activedirectory" ("ad_use_default_domain" bool NOT NULL DEFAULT 1, "ad_workgroup" varchar(120) NOT NULL DEFAULT '', "ad_netbiosname" varchar(120) NOT NULL, "ad_adminname" varchar(120) NOT NULL, "ad_unix_extensions" bool NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, "ad_dchost" varchar(120) NOT NULL, "ad_domainname" varchar(120) NOT NULL, "id" integer PRIMARY KEY, "ad_adminpw" varchar(120) NOT NULL, "ad_verbose_logging" bool NOT NULL DEFAULT 0, "ad_allow_trusted_doms" bool NOT NULL DEFAULT 0)
The error was: table "_south_new_services_activedirectory" already exists

I've attached the full update.failed file.
Can this be salvaged, or should I just do a clean install?

It looks like it is too far of an upgrade jump to do from the GUI. A clean install and restore of config should fix it.
