SOLVED Updating CrashPlan to ver. 4.7

I have CrashPlan ver 4.5 installed on FreeNAS 9.3 (FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201602031011) and would like to upgrade it to version 4.7, which can be downloaded at:

https://download2.code42.com/installs/linux/install/CrashPlan/CrashPlan_4.7.0_Linux.tgz

Has anyone successfully upgraded CrashPlan to 4.7? Can anyone confirm that the approach taken in these instructions is appropriate for ver. 4.7?
