Nevermind, just reinstalled. FreeNAS has been anything but easy to maintain and operate. In another case, a drive in my array failed and I still haven't been able to successfully get it to come up as Online. It shows as unavailable. Very Frustrating!!!

Yep. Thanks. Followed that 1000 times. No success. Replaced HGST (Western Digital) 3.5" Deskstar NAS drive with WD RED Nas Storage Drive. I've tried EVERYTHING I could find on Google to make it work, so far...No Freaking Luck!!!

Did you read the error? It says you have to restore the pool from backup. This means you had a drive fail and also a read error from another drive. Whatever that data was is now gone because their is no redundancy. If you can still access your pool start backing up the important stuff soon. Then think about rebuilding.

Is it not possible to delete the offending file, if metadata is unaffected, and replace the disk having 'cured' the error?

Well, Lost it all. Just reinstalled Freenas 9.10 Stable & re-created new volumes and started over. 2 failed drives in the Raidz2 from the same lot of the same Manuf. a Real bummer! I'll be more careful to make sure I have full backups in the future.
