Hello,

I'm on TrueNAS-13.0-U6.1

I'm trying to install a UniFi Network Server in a jail or in a VM.

But first I noticed there was a plugin and turns out there is a "unificontroller" program.

If I try to install it, it says

Code:

Error: 13.1-RELEASE was not found!

So I guess it's deprecated.

Did any of you have success installing this:

On a TrueNAs box, either as a jail or VM ?

I'd love to have some pointers.

You need to NOT use plugins.

Create a jail with the 13.2 (not 13.1 or 13.3) then enter the jail and run pkg install unifi8

So I did that.

And according to the documentation

I should be able to access it using the IP in a browser, however nothing is going on.

Any tips?

Last time I did that, I needed to wait some time for it to start working.

Try sockstat in the jail to see a list of running services.

Damn... it does work, but I needed to use port 8080
