Recently, I just noticed I was unable to upload a zip file (2.51 MB); got this message:
upload_2016-6-28_6-47-41.png

However, the "Max" is supposed to be 29.3 MB (I highlighted it for easier viewing):
upload_2016-6-28_6-49-14.png

Here are the ZIP file details:

I don't need to upload the file any longer, but figured I would mention it anyways...

Hey there. I found the solution to the issue and have reported it to our system admin. The upload size is set in the xenforo control panel as 30M which is why it is showing up that way, but it looks like xenforo is broke and not setting the variable in the php.ini file. In the php.ini file it is set for only 2M. I've asked the sysadmin to manually adjust the value which should fix this in the future. Thanks for your report!

Thanks for looking into this. So I would assume that 2MB is the actual limit going forward?

trying upload zipped files by taping a network cable to a zip disk.
I wouldn't put it past me... ;)
