Hi!

So I wanted to setup email alerts for various maintenance features, and it told me that I have to set an email for the root user account. However, when I tried to go into Accounts -> Users, there are no vertical dots next to the root user account, so I can't add an email.

Is this intended behavior or a bug? I can't seem to find anywhere else where I can edit the account.

I'm on TrueNAS 13, the latest stable release.

They must have changed it from Core 12 -> 13.

I don't have "three dots" for any user. Instead, there's an "arrow" that will expand the view and allow you to click "Edit".

Here are screenshots from my TrueNAS Core 12.0-U8 system:

I remember that as well I think, but doesn't really help me now in any way^^

Okay so I reset the layout to defaults, even though I've never changed anything there myself, and now it's back to normal. Very weird.

Interestingly enough, I can get the "three dots" to replace the "arrows" by enabling all columns.

Not sure what the meaning of that is, let alone if it's intentional by design.
