Greetings.

I installed freenas 11.0-u3 to my 16gb sandisk cruzer. When I boot it up for the first time, everything is fine, but I realize I need to move the pc next to the router, so I shutdown using the menu option. When I try to boot it up again, it keep stucking at this screen.

Sorry the forum just would not let me upload image even though i resize it to only 35kb. if you dont want to click on the link,it stuck at:
acpi0: <Sony> on motherboard

what i have try so far:
1. reinstalling the freenas on a different flash drive
2. intalling an older version, 9.10, 9.3, 9.2 32bit version
3. try plug in the exact same flashdrive into another computer, freenas boots up just fine.
4. run Ubuntu on the same laptop, boots up just fine

Spec:
Sony VAIO SVE14A1S4C
Intel Core i5-3210M
2*4gb crucial ddr3 ram
16gb sandisk cruzer
no hardrive in the system yet

Any thought about why this is happening?

I strongly advise against trying to run FreeNAS on a laptop, it's simply not designed to work on one.

You don't run freenas on a laptop. That just doesn't make sense.
