Hi all,
My UI reports that device /dev/sdb (SAmsung QVO 2 TB SSD) has 25 errors.
The disk is still online.
What's weird is that the alert that shows up reporting that the pool is degraded claims that the serial number of the disk that's erroring out is a WDC-something.
There are no WDC disks in the machine. There USED to be, but they were all replaced with SSD's.
What's even more strange is that a LONG SMART test shows nothing wrong with the drive:
It's also been swapping which drive is producing errors, it used to be /dev/sde, (Same type of disk) and now it's /dev/sdb.
It feels like I've hit some sort of reporting bug based on that it's expecting WDC drive to be at /dev/sdb and not the SSD disk.
The pool has of course been recreated from scratch.
The pool is functioning without any errors whatsoever, which of course is quite logical becaused it's a 2x vdev raid-z1 with 4 disks each.
Any ideas how to proceed?
