I am new to freenas so please bear with me.

I have a freenas 11.1.u5 server which i have been running in test mode for about 2 months now. I have been trying to create VM on their ( ubuntu 18.04) and windows 10 enterprise edition but haven't had any luck with either. I needed a VM to run either Blue Iris or some other version of software for a NVR.

my motherboard is a supermicro X8DT6-F with 2 Xeon e5 5650 and 96 GB of ECC RAM. There is no support for UEFI on it.

When starting up the VM in windows I only get this.

SHELL >

When trying to install the Ubuntu server I get an error about Real time clock.

Please let me know what other info I need to upload so that someone with more exp can help me.
