Hi

Just wondering if anyone on here has a experience of running Unifi Video on a VM?

I have followed this video guide on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyNFxeWnkDk replacing the download link with the latest for Ubuntu Server 18.04. However, I don't seem to be having any luck as the Unifi Video application does not appear to be launching/accessible when browsing to its ip and port or using the unifi video detection page video.ui.com

Doe's anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Theres no port or guide for setting it up manually but Im pretty sure somebody very familiar with FreeBSD can make it work. It looks like it uses tomcat to serve its webapp which is available for FreeBSD. Its also written in java so it should be platform agnostic. You could try and ask them for a port.
