Hi All
Struggling with this one a bit.
Trying to migrate over to a new system but can't seem to work out the right setting for the replication.
So it's a Truenas13 with a replication pull to, from a FreeNas11 system. We'll be doing the same thing for all 8 of our systems so we can upgrade to 13. Version from 11-U1 to 12-U5
We using Active Directory for permissions.

Now I've done a "full System replication" which was great but once complete i have to re run the local (TrueNas13 system) permissions reclusively which then take about 2 days.
At which point the pulled dataset to 13 is out of Date.

What settings for replication on 13 should i be using so that it only copy's data with snapshots without changing the permissions on the local dataset?
So as soon as it's done i can cut it over to the TrueNas13 system.

Anyone have any thoughts on this.
So it looks like every time a snapshot completes it resets the permissions.
This there a way to keep the ACL permissions on the local TrueNas13 and not inherit from the replication task Pull?

I figured it out.
My idmap's didn't match on the TrueNas13 system.
It's range starts way higher than the older versions.
Corrected this and we all good.
